Jules Addison is first and foremost a professional musician. Most days he can be found working alongside Cellist, Anne-Marie Humphries, as the Pianist in JAM Duo.

Piano / Keyboard

Jules would argue that his first instrument is in fact the organ. But despite this has probably spent more of his life playing the piano. His repertoire is focussed on Jazz and contemporary arrangements of modern songs, which is particularly relevant for JAM Duo.

Jules is a classical trained pianist and can just as easily play Debussy and Beethoven but his love is jazz and popular songs from the first half of the twentieth century. His ability to improvise around jazz standards has brought him numerous awards and rave reviews.

Organ

Jules has worked as Director of Music and Organist at numerous churches across the South West as well as in Windsor whilst he was at University. Currently Jules does not have time for a regular post at a church but regularly accompanies ‘Quorum MK’, a renaissance choir when they sing at Cathedrals around the UK each year.

To date, Jules has accompanied choirs and played for services at the following cathedrals:

Bath Abbey, Bury St Edmunds, Canterbury, Coventry, Durham, Hereford, Norwich, Salisbury, Truro and York Minster

Freelance Services

Jules is available on a freelance basis to play for your church wedding either as organist or as part of JAM Duo, or indeed a mixture of both. Jules is also sometimes available to play for Sunday services at churches across Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. Please get in touch for details.
